Miss Gelzenlichter, former resident, died in Charleston.
Miss Kathryn Gelzenlichter,, seventy six, 312 Filbert St., died unexpectedly at St. Joseph hospital at 8:30 am on Saturday after a short illness.
Born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Bartram and Sarah Meehan Gelzenlichter, she lived her entire life here.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary Apostleship of Prayer, and the Miraculous Medal Society. She had worked as an inspectress at Polan Katz Umbrella Factory until 15 years ago when she retired. She also worked 47 years at the city cotton mill as a cutter and inspector.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Gelzenlichter- Entered into rest in this city, on March 12, 1960. Sarah Catherine Gelzenlichter, of 312 Filbert Street, Lancaster. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Sullivan Funeral Home, 121 South Prince St., on Tuesday Morning, at 10:30 o'clock, with Requiem High Mass in Saint Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 o'clock. Interment in Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sullivan Funeral Home on Monday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock. The Rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 8 o'clock.
