Mrs. Barbara Zahn Moore
The community was greatly shocked to learn of the sudden death on Monday, March 24th. Of Mrs. Barbara Zahn Moore, of 325 Grayling avenue.
Mrs. Moore, who was 69 years of age, had enjoyed good health until a few days ago, but her illness was not thought to be serious. Funeral services were held at her residence on Wednesday evening and interment was made in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster, Pa.
Mrs. Moore, who was born near New Providence, Lancaster County, moved to Narberth a few years ago and soon endeared herself to her new found friends and neighbors because of her charm and personality. Always cheerful, always sincere, always faithful, she devoted a tireless energy to building a happy home for her husband and children. Her loss will be keenly felt by her neighbors who have held her in high esteem.
She attended the Narberth Methodist Church and always displayed an active interest in its activities.
Mrs Moore is survived by her husband, who is Assistant Superintendent of the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company, and who has been with this company for 41 years, and three sons who are actively engaged in business in Philadelphia and Brooklyn.
Mr. S. G. Moore wishes to express to his friends and neighbors his appreciation for the many expressions of sympathy and offers of assistance to himself and his sons in their recent bereavement.
